Team Birdie Brigade Once Again Reigns With A Dominant Display at Rancho Solano

On a pristine day at Rancho Solano Golf Course in Fairfield, CA, Team Birdie Brigade demonstrated their signature prowess by delivering a flawless performance. The Brigade carded eight birdies without a single bogey, securing yet another victory through a collective team effort. Brady Clark set the pace with powerful drives, positioning the team for advantageous short iron approaches, which translated into birdie opportunities. John Nunes capitalized on these chances, sinking five birdie putts, several from distances of 20 feet or more. Greg Nunes and Rob Pierce contributed crucial shots that complemented Clark’s drives and Nunes’s putting, ensuring the Brigade’s continued dominance in the PGAHT.

Team Jarboe finished in second place with a score of -4. Tom Jarboe, Rob Lagomarsino, Richard Morris, and newcomer Mark Campanelli played consistent golf, recording five birdies and just one bogey. A few lipped-out putts and misplayed approach shots were the difference between them and the Brigade.

In third place, with a score of -3, was Team Samples. Pat Samples, Tony Mendoza, and Chris Hogan displayed determination, especially after tour veteran Robert Holmes withdrew due to a health issue.

Despite the smaller field, all participants enjoyed an exceptional and memorable day at Rancho Solano, a staple in the PGAHT rotation.

Looking ahead, the next event is the highly anticipated Masters of Hack at the renowned Paradise Valley Golf Course in Fairfield, CA. With an expected field of 24 players, it promises to be another unforgettable day of competition.
