Team Birdie Brigade Goes Back-to-Back at the Masters of Hack

On a scorching day in Fairfield, CA, the PGAHT's premier event, The Masters of Hack, unfolded at the splendid Paradise Valley Golf Course. Despite the beauty of the course, it was the intense heat that posed the greatest challenge. Yet again, The Birdie Brigade triumphed, securing back-to-back Masters Championships. Even without their star player, Brady Clark, the team excelled with powerful drives by John Nunes and exceptional short game shots by Greg Nunes and Robert Pierce, leading to numerous birdie putts. John Nunes sank two birdie putts over 20 feet, while Greg and Rob also contributed significantly, culminating in a final round of -7 to defend their title.

Team Samples claimed a strong second place, finishing at -4. Their performance featured long, consistent drives by Tony Mendoza and Patrick Samples, along with exquisite approach shots by Robert Holmes and Chris Hogan, which set up numerous birdie opportunities. A few challenges on difficult holes culminated with a few dropped shots that made the difference between them and The Birdie Brigade.

Team Jarboe secured a commendable third place at -3. Known for their consistent long drives and precise approach shots, they demonstrated excellent skills on the greens. Richard Morris's powerful drives positioned Tom, Norm, and Rob well to attack the greens. Though a few putts lipped out, they achieved a fantastic finish. This team is poised for the next event, The Travelers Championship, at Wildhorse Golf Club in Davis, CA.

Overall, it was another remarkable day of golf for the PGAHT, filled with memorable moments and enjoyment for all. The tour eagerly anticipates the next event in July at Wildhorse Golf Club.
