It's Jen AGAIN!

Jennifer Cawaring displayed remarkable skill and determination in her victory at the 2010 U.S. Hackers Open. With a chip-in birdie on the challenging par-3 6th hole and consistent pars on holes 2, 5, and 13, Cawaring finished with an impressive 13-under round of 91, securing her SECOND Major title. Despite a long layoff due to injury, Cawaring's hard work in sharpening her game paid off as she navigated the fast greens of Boundary Oak and held off Ken Vierra by one stroke, earning her a coveted spot in the champions group at July's Memorial. Congratulations to Jennifer Cawaring on her well-deserved victory!

Ken Vierra's performance at the event was nothing short of remarkable. Despite a last-minute group change just minutes before tee-time, Vierra remained focused and played like a true PGAHT pro. He delivered a career-best 12-under round of 95, including pars on holes 3, 13, and 14, securing a second-place finish. Coincidentally, Vierra also finished second behind Cawaring at last year's PGAHT Championship. Clearly, Vierra has his sights set higher and will be one to watch at next month's Masters of Hack. Congratulations to Ken Vierra on his outstanding performance!

Tony "Big Tone" Mendoza had a stellar day on the course, showcasing his impressive skills. With birdies on holes 1, 5, and 7, Mendoza went out on the front-9 with a score of 36, and finished the back-9 with a score of 42, posting an impressive round of 78, which was good for 9-under par and a third-place finish. Mendoza expressed his satisfaction in the clubhouse, stating, "I finally got one," referring to a great round. It's evident that Mendoza is ready to compete for titles after overcoming some challenges, and he may just start with a win at next month's Masters of Hack. Congratulations to Tony Mendoza on his impressive performance!

James Lopez displayed a remarkable turnaround in his round at the recent event. Despite a challenging front-9 where he went out in 46, Lopez made a remarkable comeback on the back-9. He managed to par six of the last nine holes, finishing with a score of 39, which resulted in a total round score of 85, putting him at an impressive 5-under par and earning him a well-deserved 4th place finish.

Lopez acknowledged that it had been a while since he had played well, but he put those concerns to rest in a big way with his exceptional performance. While it has been some time since his last win at the 2008 Delta Classic, Lopez's skill on the greens and ability to sink crucial putts could be the key to putting those concerns to rest and securing another victory. Congratulations to James Lopez on his impressive performance!

Once again I want to thank everyone for continuing to make The PGAHT a great way to spend a day. It was nice to spend some time together in the clubhouse at the 19th hole.
